Beauty defined by Media:
My definition: That people have to make themselves more beautiful by putting makeup on and using media to make themselves beautiful.
3 things:
- I found that people see beauty by media as being perfect.
- I learned that beauty is how you act not about how you look.
- Some people feel good without makeup and that they feel like they're lying when they meet someone new.

Beauty defined by Gender:
My definition: Is your outward image and the way you look. And that each gender is held to different standards in terms of beauty.
3 Things:

- That beauty is the way you express yourself.
- Girls are expected to wear makeup.
- Guys are expected to look good and have muscles.
Beauty defined by Culture:
My definition: Personal differences of beauty between different countries.
3 Things:
- That people in different cultures have different aspects of beauty.
- In Africa they paint their faces as their way of cultural beauty.
- In India they wear jewelry and red and gold on their wedding days, along with henna art.

Beauty defined by age:
My definition: As you get older people get less beautiful and we need to focus on personality and know them before we judge them.
3 Things:
- "To age is to fail" is a message to older women.
- Makeup can make you look younger rather than old.
- Aging is wonderful and we should respect that.
Beauty defined by History:
My definition: Throughout time beauty standards have changed more and more.
3 Things:
- People have changed their beauty standards throughout the years.
- Today it is mostly about looks rather than inner beauty.
- History has changed its standards of beauty throughout time It used to be about inner beauty and now it's about outer beauty
Gender and media over lap because women and men are held to different standards. Girls have to wear makeup, while guys do not have to and only have to look good.
I've learned that their are many types of beauty and all of them have a lesson to give. But they all have different lessons within them, like we all have beauty and we shouldn't hide that with makeup, societies standards, age, or our culture we all have inner beauty it's just hiding until you discover it.
